Relief Aid and Livelihood Initiatives
At IFIP, our Relief Aid and Livelihood Initiatives are designed to support communities in crisis and help them rebuild their lives with sustainable solutions.
Our Approach
Emergency Food Distribution
In times of drought, floods, or conflict, we provide immediate food aid to affected communities, ensuring their survival needs are met. Our rapid response ensures that no one goes hungry during emergencies.
Livelihood Diversification
We train communities in alternative income-generating activities, such as beekeeping, poultry farming, and handicrafts. This helps reduce dependency on traditional livelihoods and provides new sources of income for families.
Cash Transfer Programs
For the most vulnerable households, we offer financial support through cash transfer programs, allowing them to rebuild their lives and regain financial stability after crises.
Agricultural Inputs
We supply farmers affected by natural disasters with seeds, tools, and fertilizers, enabling them to restart farming activities and ensure food security in their communities.
Capacity Building for Self-Reliance
We provide training in essential skills such as marketing, financial management, and value chain development. These programs empower individuals and communities to build sustainable livelihoods and achieve long-term self-reliance.
