Education
Many years have passed since the declaration of Free Education yet many Children in Turkana County still have no access to Schools.
Education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering individuals to build better futures. At IFIP, we are committed to improving access to quality education for children, youth, and adults in Turkana County. Our education initiatives focus on providing opportunities for learning, skills development, and capacity building to ensure long-term success for individuals and communities.
Our Approach
Bursaries and Scholarships
To address financial barriers, we offer bursaries and scholarships for students in secondary schools, colleges, and universities.
This support helps disadvantaged students continue their education and unlock opportunities for a brighter future.
Vocational Training
We intend to provide vocational training programs for youth and adults, focusing on practical skills such as agriculture, ICT, and entrepreneurship.
These programs equip individuals with the skills needed to secure employment or start their own businesses.
Support for Schools
IFIP is looking to provide resources to schools, including teaching materials, infrastructure development, and support for Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers.
We aim to create a conducive learning environment for children from underserved communities.
