Bringing Communities Together Through Compassion: IFIP & KCB Food Distribution Initiative
On 15th March 2026, the Islamic Foundation for Integrated Programs (IFIP), in partnership with KCB Bank – Lodwar Branch, carried out a food distribution exercise targeting vulnerable families in Turkana.

Through this initiative, we reached 100 beneficiaries drawn from both Muslim and Christian communities. Beyond the provision of food, the activity stood as a powerful reminder that humanity rises above religious and social differences. It reflected the values of unity, compassion, and shared responsibility in supporting those most in need.
At a time when many families continue to face economic hardship, collaborative efforts like these demonstrate that meaningful impact is possible when institutions come together with a common purpose.
However, the need remains great.

We call upon development partners, financial institutions, community organizations, and well-wishers to join hands with IFIP in scaling such interventions. By pooling resources, expertise, and goodwill, we can reach more families, strengthen community resilience, and build a more inclusive and caring society.
Let’s move from intention to action—together.
